Alexander Wodrich on the Sound of Brands
Alexander Wodrich, born in 1969 and a business administration graduate, began his professional career in advertising in 1998 at Wunderman in Frankfurt. From late 1999 to summer 2009, he worked for MetaDesign, a corporate identity and branding agency in Berlin, advising clients including Volkswagen, Audi, DHL, Allianz, Lufthansa and Premiere. From 2007, he was appointed to the management board, with responsibility for the Sound Branding and Motion Graphics Division. His work has won various prizes, including several red-dot and Stevie Business Awards. Since July 2009, he has been working as a freelance brand consultant in Berlin.
Alexander Wodrich is regularly invited to speak at universities and congresses on the subject of brands and sound. He discovered his love of music/ sound at an early age and is himself a musician and DJ.
Based on practical examples and case studies, he will describe in his presentation just what sound branding is and how the target groups of brands are reached through sound.
