Ecke Bonk on typosophy
Fascinated by the fine line between chance, non-causality and determinism, between order and disorder, Ecke Bonk has been analyzing and testing the loose meeting ends of cultural predefinition for many years, in the arts as well as in natural philosophy. His work considers the physical condition and converges the vanishing point, he studies the inter-tidal energies that cause the dynamics between the contradictive pairing of knowledge and ignorance as well as its constant interaction.
Language and Typo-Systems, typology in general, are mighty supporters of our ceaseless urge to find directions. Ecke Bonk uses the term 'Typosophy' for his work and approach. The leitmotif of his hybrid-organisation 'Typhosophers sans Frontiers' is a Heraklit quote: "The fairest kosmos is a heap of sweepings, tossed at random".
