The film was created by Philipp Döring as his final year project and tells the story of Marianne, who mans a helpline for people in emotional distress, and her battle to break out of the co-dependence on her daughter. It is a piece of intimate theatre of oppressive intensity; visually and acoustically so close, it is as if the viewer could feel, rather than hear, Marianne's breath.
