The Cologne-based Minguet String Quartet is one of the most sought-after ensembles of our day. One of its major goals is to introduce the audience to music by new, unknown composers or forgotten works of old masters. In 2010, its recording of the Ruzicka quartets was awarded the ECHO Klassik.

Over a period of four months, the quartet was captured on film in its various activities by Maximilian Dietel and Simon Hildenbrand. The 36-minute artist portrait was created as part of the Video 2 exam under Prof. Manfred Waffender.
