Elane – Paper boat & silver kite

How invincible does the ocean seem to a small paper boat? Pitted against it is the silver kite which makes its laps at a breezy height. Yet as soon as it loses contact with the earth, it wobbles about erratically. The paper boat succeeds in running ashore at a coast far away. It has brought with it many stories and emotions from its journey. Two images. And two people who are looking for themselves.

This music video for the band Elane was produced in 2009 as the Video 2 exam of Markus Skroch, supervised by IMM assistant professor Volker Anding.
