The Multimedia Room (MMR) offers users a network of computers with Internet access and link-up to the Institute's XSAN system. A comprehensive bundle of software is installed on the computers, enabling all aspects of creative working to be covered. The seven Mac Pros and two PCs are equipped with 23-inch widescreen TFT displays, so working with full HD resolution is possible. The computer hardware is able to meet all current demands in the field of audio and video production. The MMR is also a venue for regular workshops presented by assistant professors and guest lecturers.
